It has come to our attention that our VPS1 server, which is used by Nolimitshost.org for free hosting and a very few paid hosting clients, is experiencing random Internal Server error from time to time.

With this, we have decided to move all accounts to i79202 server on August 14 2010, with the exception of paid clients who can wish to request to move to i78602 server now or before August 14. If we didn’t receive any request from our paid clients in VPS1 server to move to our other server, we will move them by August 14, 2010 in i79202 server.

Thank you very much for your cooperation.

Dear Customers,

All accounts in Q66001 have been successfully migrated over 12 hours ago. We sent you all your respective nameserver IPs. We hope that you’re all able to change your custom namserver IPs already to avoid losing site updates and emails.

We are now going to suspend all accounts in Q66001 server to avoid updates and emails going to the old server. This will prevent losing them. If you see your site is suspended, then please do not be alarmed. You just have to make sure you change your nameserver IPs and wait for domain propagation. You can use third-party DNS to make sure propagation is faster on your end. For more information, please refer to the post here: http://nolimitshostdesk.luv.ph/knowledgebase.php?article=18

Thank you very much for your cooperation and continued support.

We are driving to use only Intel Core i7 servers to serve all our paid hosting clients. As such, we are going to start migrating all accounts from Q66001 server on to the core i7 servers we have on July 18, 2010 12:00 AM UTC+8. The transfer may last up to 3 days. We will keep you posted on the progress.

We strongly advise not to make any updates to your websites during the migration to make sure you will not lose these updates. We will send each customers residing in Q66001 separate emails about their respective custom nameserver IPs.

To know if you are in Q66001 server, please log in to your cPanel and check if the “Server Name” shows “Q66001″ (without quotes).

Thank you very much for your cooperation on this. We do appreciate your understanding and continued support.

EDIT: 07/18/2010 12:00 PM UTC+8

Backups of all accounts in Q66001 were all completed. These backups are now being sent to its respective server for restoration. We will inform you later in the evening UTC+8 time for the nameserver IPs to use. Please do not forget to check your emails and add sales@nolimitshost.info to your email contacts to make sure you will receive our email containing the nameserver IPs. Thank you.

EDIT: 07/18/2010 9:00 PM UTC+8

All accounts have been moved either to i7860 or i78602 servers. Your new nameserver IPs have been sent to your email account. You may also check our client area as we have also opened a ticket on your behalf informing you of your new nameserver IPs.

Hello

We have received reports last night that some people have difficulty accessing their websites. It has come to our attention that this problem is isolated to some ISPs throughout the globe. We have, however, already tried 10 ISPs in Singapore, Philippines, India and Australia and they seem to be fine connecting to i7860 server. We have also tried accessing through several proxies, one of which is the ever reliable anonymouse.org and sites are loading perfectly.

If you have trouble accessing your website, the first step is to submit a support ticket stating your IP address. This way, we can check if your IP address is blocked. If your IP is not blocked, please try to check your site using anonymouse.org to see if it’s loading from there. If it does, then this is isolated to your ISP. You would need to contact your ISP for this and check their peering connectivity to our server.

In addition, please do a traceroute to your website from your PC. For Windows user, please go to Command prompt, and type “tracert yourwebsite.com” without the quotes. Also replace yourwebsite.com with your real website domain name. This way we will be able to check which internet peering is specifically having problems.

Thank you very much for your continued support.

Hello

As announced a few weeks ago, we have started migrating all accounts from Athlon server to the new server. We have sent mass email yesterday to remind you that we are transferring servers and to avoid losing any updates to your site, we highly recommend that you refrain from updating your sites.

We will keep you posted as soon as accounts have been restored to the new server. The new nameserver IPs are as follows:

NS1 = 64.120.134.166
NS2 = 64.120.134.167

If you are using our own nameservers, then you don’t have to change anything. Otherwise, if you are using your own custom nameservers, please make sure you change the nameserver IPs.

This is only applicable to server Athlon with server ip 63.223.114.201. If you are not in this server, then please ignore this announcement.

Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.

EDIT: June 20, 2010 6:26 PM GMT+8

All accounts have been moved from Athlon to iloveGod server. We are now going to suspend all accounts from iloveGod server to avoid your sites being updated incorrectly. If you see that your site is suspended and you are in Athlon server, that means that the new nameservers have not yet propagated to your ISP (internet provider). Propagation takes from 1-3 days depending on your internet provider. Thank you.

All accounts moved from Q66001 to I7860 will now be suspended in Q66001 server to prevent updates being lost due to domain propagation. Make sure that when you log in to your cPanel, it says server I7860.

If you are using custom nameservers, do NOT forget to change your custom nameservers. Below is I7860’s nameserver IPs:

NS1 = 173.212.243.82
NS2 = 173.212.243.83

If you are using your own custom nameservers, make sure you log in to your WHM and go to “Edit DNS Zone” and change your NS1 and NS2 ips to 173.212.243.82 and 173.212.243.83. Then wait for the changes in nameservers to fully propagate across all the internet around the globe. This can take up to 72 hours, depending on how fast your internet provider caches updates on DNS.

For customers who contacted us to exclude their accounts from being moved to i7860 server, and are using your custom nameservers then you do NOT have to change anything, but if you are using our nameservers, please change your nameservers to:

ns1.q66001.luv.ph
ns2.q66001.luv.ph

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time.

It has come to our attention that most of our clients are requesting to be moved to our i7 860 server. As you might have noticed, we have a few i7 servers ready to be occupied. With our increasing client base, we are now happy to inform you that we have decided to move all our clients from Q66001 server to our I7860 server! This will also allow our current customers to have more “room for growth” with our new, faster server. Core i7 860 has 8 virtual cores (with Hyperthreading) and 8 GB RAM. We are proud to say that we are one of the few unmetered hosting providers willing to invest in buying more than 1 server and a few i7 860 servers to offer to clients.

We are going to start the server move on April 30, 2010, and might take up to 3 days to move and restore all accounts from Q66001 server to I7860 server.

Please kindly take note of the below activities that are set to commence from April 30 – May 2, 2010

- migrate all accounts to the new server
- importing master resellers from q66001 to i7860
- re-configure i7860 to perform daily and weekly backups including the migrated customers from Q66001

We will update this news again with the new nameserver IPs before we actually start the server move.

For our clients using our own nameservers – you do not have to change anything as we will take care of changing our nameservers. However, for our clients using their own custom nameservers, you will have to change your custom nameserver IPs to our new server’s IPs.

Thank you very much for all your cooperation regarding this matter.

The new server is Core i7 860 with 8MB of L3 cache each core, 8 virtual cores, 8 GB RAM and 1 TB HDD.
