Free cPanel Scripts Installer

Combine the power of the free Softaculous and free cPanel Site Software / cPAddons!

To get your free Softaculous, follow the simple installation steps here:

Log in to SSH and do the following:
cd /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi
wget -N http://www.softaculous.com/ins/addon_softaculous.php
chmod 755 addon_softaculous.php
Check your customer’s cPanel by logging in. You should now be seeing “Softaculous” under “Software”

To activate cPaddon, follow the simple instructions here:

Log in to WHM using root access.
Go to Main >> cPanel >> cPAddon Scripts Installer/Updater
Check all the scripts you want to be available for installation
Click on “Update Addon Config” button
In WHM, go to Main >> Packages >> Feature Manager
Make sure “Addon Cgi Scripts” is checked/activated
Check your customer’s cPanel by logging in. You should now be seeing “Site Software” under “Software”

How to add Joomla in the list?

Simple instructions in adding Joomla to the list:

Go to Main >> cPanel >> cPAddon Scripts Installer/Updater
Add eName in the list for providers: http://www.ename.ro/cpaddons

After that, Joomla and Magento will appear in the list of applications (see screenshot above). Check Joomla and click on “Update Addon Config”.

Copy Joomla icon:

cp /usr/local/cpanel/cpaddons/eName/CMS/Joomla/joomla-logo.png /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/default/images/
