Athlon server currently being migrated to another server

On Sunday, June 20th, 2010 at 9:52 AM, posted in: Server News by CEO

Hello

As announced a few weeks ago, we have started migrating all accounts from Athlon server to the new server. We have sent mass email yesterday to remind you that we are transferring servers and to avoid losing any updates to your site, we highly recommend that you refrain from updating your sites.

We will keep you posted as soon as accounts have been restored to the new server. The new nameserver IPs are as follows:

NS1 = 64.120.134.166
NS2 = 64.120.134.167

If you are using our own nameservers, then you don’t have to change anything. Otherwise, if you are using your own custom nameservers, please make sure you change the nameserver IPs.

This is only applicable to server Athlon with server ip 63.223.114.201. If you are not in this server, then please ignore this announcement.

Thank you very much for your understanding and cooperation.

EDIT: June 20, 2010 6:26 PM GMT+8

All accounts have been moved from Athlon to iloveGod server. We are now going to suspend all accounts from iloveGod server to avoid your sites being updated incorrectly. If you see that your site is suspended and you are in Athlon server, that means that the new nameservers have not yet propagated to your ISP (internet provider). Propagation takes from 1-3 days depending on your internet provider. Thank you.

Increase in PHP Memory limit

On Friday, May 21st, 2010 at 6:31 PM, posted in: Enhancements by CEO

We have increased the php memory limit on all our servers excluding Athlon from 32M to 120M. We will increase nolimitshost.org’s php memory limit when we upgrade Athlon server to Intel Core i7 server sometime in June or July.

We have also changed our policies, http://nolimitshost.info/policies/, to reflect the new PHP memory limit.

Thank you very much for your continued patronage and support.

To provide the best hosting possible, we only use the best and newest technology and therefore it has come to our attention that it’s time to use only i7 servers to host our clients websites.

The following servers will be upgraded/replaced with i7 (either 860 or 920):

Quad Core Servers:
Q66001 8 GB RAM
Q66002 8 GB RAM
Q66003 8 GB RAM

Dual Core Server:
Athlon 4 GB RAM

All our quad core and dual core servers (with the exception of our backup server) will be upgraded to use Intel i7 (860/920) processors and use 8 GB RAM at the minimum.

i7 processors comes with hyper threading and L3 cache technology, 8 virtual cores and 8MB cache size per core.

The upgrade will happen sometime on July. We are targeting to start the upgrade on July 1 and complete the upgrade by July 6.

For clients currently hosted in our i7860 server, you will not be affected because you are already in our i7 860 server and is already using Intel i7 processor.

We hope you are as excited as we are. Thank you for all your understanding and cooperation.
